about

I was born in south Spain in a rural family with a long tradition on butchery.  I moved to Granada to study Sociology and there I became a semi-professional musician and had some national and international gigs. In 2010 I moved to Madrid to study a master degree and there I was hooked by sociology. In 2012 I started working as a research assistant at both Universities and private companies. In  2013 I was lucky enough ro recieve an arguably well-paid scholarship to pursue a PhD in Barcelona. I was also very lucky to write my doctoral thesis at the chair of Prof. Gøsta Esping-Andersen, under excellent supervision of Prof. María José González.

During the years of my PhD (2014-2019) I lived and worked in Barcelona (Spain), London (UK), Brisbane (Australia), Berlin, Cologne, Trossingen and Frankfurt (Germany). When I am not doing sociology I enjoy listening, playing, dancing or producing music.
