I finally have a thesis defence date! It will be on the 25th of March, at UPF Barcelona of course.  It has taken almost a year since I finished writing until I am going to defend (crazy). But  the date is already here and rapidly approaching. Unfortunately the jury has changed substantially but we will have fun, that’s for sure.  Hope to see you there, we will have a little party afterwards :)

It’s official! Yesterday I signed my work contract as a postdoctoral researcher with Goethe University of Frankfurt. I will start in January and I will work at the Institute of Sociology in the Research Unit Sociology of Economics, Work and Organizations.

This autumn I will be Guest Researcher at The University of Cologne. I will work in the chair of Prof. Marita Jacobs in close collaboration with Dr. Michael Kuhhirt. 

Also,  I will be presenting in the European Consortium for Sociological Research General Conference in Paris (October 29).

In June and July I will be presenting in the following places: 

- University of Cádiz (27 June) 
- Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany (4 July)
- Society of Longitudinal and Life Course Studies Conference, Milan (July) 
- XIX World Congress of Sociology (Toronto, Canada)
